This
credit-bearing certificate program mirrors the college's academic
minor in leadership studies. It combines the study of leadership
history, theories, and applications with practice in real
life situations.
This
non-credit certificate program, made up of five short courses
and a practicum, reflects the essence of the Certificate in
Leadership Studies program but in a substantially more abbreviated
version. It, too, requires participants to demonstrate professional
competence and documents achievements that can lead to career
advancement. The continuing education units (CEUs) awarded
also satisfy recertification requirements needed for certain
professional designations and certifications.
