Master of Letters Directing Production: The Maid's Tragedy
A Husband Halted. A Mistress Mocked. A Daughter Devastated. A Sister Shamed. Lovers Lost. See this sensual, sensational, spectacular, subversive piece of Jacobean drama — The Maid's Tragedy by Beaumont and Fletcher — on stage at the Blackfriars Playhouse (10 South Market St.) at 7:30 p.m. April 25 and 26. Preshow music begins at 7:15 p.m. Performances are free and open to the public. Donations benefit the Shakespeare and Performance program in partnership with the American Shakespeare Center at Mary Baldwin College. For more information call 540-887-7237. |
