St. Patrick's Day March

Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership corps and marching band will march in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade. This will be their eighth consecutive year performing in the annual event. The parade starts at 11 a.m. For more information, call 540-887-7042.
       
  Shakespeare Thesis Festival > March 20–21
Spring 2011 Thesis Project Festival

This two-day event at Blackfriars Playhouse highlights the work of students in Mary Baldwin's Shakespeare and Performance graduate program. On Day One, Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidate Edward Sheehan will present his directing project, Shakespeare's Timon of Athens, at 7:30 p.m. Day Two includes 13, 30-minute staged presentations of Master of Arts in Letters theses and MFA dramaturgy theses, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Free and open to the public.
