Day of Service
In a partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together, Mary Baldwin College will offer students the chance to volunteer for service projects during MBC's inaugural Day of Service. Students, faculty, and staff who volunteer for at least one hour will receive a free scoop of ice cream as part of the Scoop-it-Forward campaign. Junior Dads and Family Weekend
Conceived by the Class of 1969 as a way of recognizing the day juniors receive their beloved college rings, Junior Dads and Family Weekend celebrates the important role of the whole family in supporting the success of a college student. The premier event remains the November 20 ball, when students invite a special person to present them with their rings at a formal ceremony, followed at 7:30 p.m. by a dance at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel.
