Reunion 2011 > STILL TIME TO REGISTER: REUNION 2011, APRIL 7–10
Nzinga "Ziggy" Hutchinson ’06 is signed up to celebrate her five-year Reunion, Bobbie Welch Magee ’91 will be on campus for her 20th, and Olivia Rogers Guggenheim ’61 is registered to mark her milestone 50th Reunion in just a few weeks! If you haven't signed up yet, you have until March 21 to join other amazing alumnae/i at Reunion 2011. Mail in your registration form ASAP or visit the Reunion website to sign up. Here are a few updates on new events during Reunion Weekend:

  • PUNCH IT UP: Join classmates for a drink (or two or three) during the Punch Crawl in downtown Staunton from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on April 8. Mixologists from Stonewall Jackson Hotel, Staunton Grocery, Emilio's, and Zynodoa will serve up their own Mary Baldwin punch for Reunion revelers. Look for more information on Facebook, including punch recipes, and visit Class of 1972 alumna Susan Myer's blog to learn all about the Punch Crawl phenomenon.
  • HOW BAZAAR: Jewelry, punch bowls, and hair accessories are just a few of the wares you'll find featured at the Alumnae/i Bazaar — a unique event that will provide a venue for alumnae/i entrepreneurs to promote their businesses. And, according to upcoming participant Jennifer Saval ’99, "It's always fun to shop with girlfriends."
Excellence on the Edge > EXCELLENCE ON THE EDGE: Don't miss alumnae/i events in Charlotte (March 22) and Philadelphia (April 29) where you can mingle with alumnae/i in your area and MBC students, faculty, and staff while learning about the college's four new Schools of Excellence. The celebration is set to travel to Northern Virginia, Dallas, and New York City this summer and fall.
Make Your gift an annual tradition > MAKE YOUR GIFT AN ANNUAL TRADITION: Thanks to our generous alumnae/i, parents, and friends, the Mary Baldwin Annual Fund has raised more than $1 million this fiscal year. Fundraisers still need every bit of your help to reach the 2010-11 goal of $1.5 million by June 30 and to realize the power of Lives Well Led by Baldwin women and men. Please make your gift securely online today or contact Brian Yurochko, director of Annual Giving, at 540-887-7385.
