  Ever Ahead > MBC Moves 'Ever Ahead' with Public Phase of Campaign
On the same day as officials broke ground at Mary Baldwin's future health sciences campus, the college also kicked off the public phase of its largest  fundraising effort in history. The evening gala brought news of an additional $1 million in gifts and pledges, bringing the college closer to its $80 million goal.

Polls are already open in what promises to be a close presidential election race, and tonight students will conduct the first MBC Live Election — the ultimate coverage and analysis simulation for political science, communication, and film students.
 
  Sophia Stone > Stone Named Conference Runner of the Year
After setting both school and meet records at multiple events, junior Sophia Stone, from Pacific Palisades, California, has earned her second consecutive USA South Runner of the Year honor.

  • MOVE MBC AHEAD: Join MBC leaders at events in Staunton (November 8) and Roanoke (November 13) to continue the momentum of our Ever Ahead fundraising campaign. Gatherings throughout winter and spring 2013 are planned to rally alumnae/i around the country.
  • GET SMART: The Advisory Board of Visitors' new personal development and leadership mentoring program, the Sophomore Mentoring Advisory Resource Team (SMART), has identified a group of 20 student participants who will benefit from one-on-one contact with an alumna/us who shares her interests. For more information about the program, please contact ABV member John Douglas or Director of Development Kelly Downer.
