The Chicago Food Network Sales Department is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team. Here is a list of what you will be handling:
Assist Account Executives and Sales Planners in processing Plans & Orders.
Act as liaison between Account Executives and Advertisers.
Handle overall administrative work for the ad sales department including order contract maintenance.
Handle and resolve discrepancies.
Work directly with Traffic Department to ensure correct airing of commercials.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of internship experience in an advertising, marketing and/or media sales environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Office and proficient with Excel. Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a fast paced environment with frequent deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple projects at once and effective communication skills are essential. Attention to detail and strong organization skills a must.
Occasional overtime will be required.
