Internship-Agency Relations & Programs

Will provide compliance monitoring and administrative assistance to BRAFB Partner Agencies as well as Summer Food Service Program sites (SFSP). The SFSP is a USDA program intended to provide summer meals and snacks to children who are at risk for hunger when school is not in session. In addition the interns will participate in the implementation of Hunger in America 2014, a national research study of charitable food assistance in the US.

Required Education and Experience:

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to maintain information in a confidential manner, ability to analyze and problem solve and work with a variety of people and needs. Must be able to acquire in-depth knowledge of regulations in short period of time and deal with detailed data in an accurate manner. Chosen applicant must be able to provide own transportation to sites and have a good driving record.
