HR Administrator
JOB SUMMARY: The administrative assistant supports the Regional HR Manager and HR team in executing HR policies, reports, and all other HR procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Creates reports and assists in HR and special projects
2. Processes updates or changes in personnel
3. Tracks, prepares documents, and ensures adherence to attendance and other leave policies
4. Maintains HRIS and timekeeping systems, provides assistance to users, and extracts data
5. Serves as a backup for hourly payroll
6. Updates HR forms and procedures
7. Coordinates special events
8. Organizes and maintains human resources files
9. Maintains a working knowledge of HDT HR policiesand is able to communicate with departments on HR procedures and company initiatives
Required Education and Experience:
Education: Associate Degree in related field required, or Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience: Two years of administrative experience required; three or more years of experience in a human resources assistant capacity required; one year payroll experience preferred; one year minimum of working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills and Knowledge: Must have computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS System (Pay Core); requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources; requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
