Academic Advisor, Adult Degree Program

Katreena serves as the academic advisor for students in the Adult Degree Program in the areas served by Rappahannock Community College. This includes the counties of Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Richmond, Westmoreland, and the town of Kilmarnock. She joined the Richmond MBC staff in 2012.

Donyetta Bryson Donyetta Bryson
Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology, Adult Degree Program

Dr. Bryson teaches Psychology and advises students in the Adult Degree Program.  She has been with MBC since 2008.

Karen Dorgan Karen Dorgan
Professor of Education, Adult Degree Program

Dr. Dorgan advises students in the Adult Degree Program and the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure Program. She teaches education and math courses in ADP.  She has been with MBC since 1994.

Irving Driscoll Irving Driscoll
Associate Professor of Education, Graduate Teacher Education Program

Dr. Driscoll teaches and is a faculty advisor in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program and the Masters in Education Program.  He also supervises student teachers. He is a retired K-12 administrator. Dr. Driscoll started working with MBC student teachers in 2003 and became a full time faculty member in 2005.

Gayle Hefty Gayle Hefty
Assistant Professor, Graduate Teacher Education Program

Dr. Hefty teaches and advises students in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program. In addition, she supervises student teachers. She retired in 2005 from her work as a teacher and principal in Richmond Public Schools and began working half-time for Mary Baldwin in July of 2008.

Catherine McPherson Catherine McPherson
Associate Professor of Business Administration, Regional Director, faculty advisor

Cathy is a graduate of the MBC residential program and returned to her alma mater as a faculty member in 1993. Before that, she was a marketing professional and continues to offer her marketing and business expertise as an outside consultant in addition to her duties with the college. Cathy is also past president of the Richmond Chapter of American Marketing Association and the MBC Alumnae/i Association.

Kerry Mills Kerry Mills
Academic Advisor and Instructor, Adult Degree Program

Kerry Mills is an Art History instructor and faculty advisor for the Adult Degree Program. She has been with Mary Baldwin for over 10 years. Kerry is active in the arts community, working with not-for-profits and galleries on projects as well as writing for art publications.
